Welcome to the Bangladesh skateboarding community

the biggest skateboarding community in Bangladesh! Our goal is to help young skaters stay away from drugs and bad habits, and to provide them with a supportive and fun community where they can grow and learn.

Each year, we organize several events where skaters can showcase their skills and learn from each other. These events include competitions, demos, and meet-ups, and are open to skaters of all levels.

Skateboarding Lessons

Our community is a welcoming place for skaters of all levels. We offer lessons and camps to help you learn or improve your skills, as well as tutorials and in-person support from pro skaters. We are dedicated to helping every member of our community thrive in the skate scene.”

Skateboarding Events

Every year, we host a variety of skateboarding events in Bangladesh to bring together skaters from all over the country. These events offer a chance for skaters to meet and learn from each other, as well as get a sense of the skate scene in other countries.

Competitions

We host skateboarding competitions and demonstrations, where skaters can show off their skills and watch professional skaters in action. These events not only provide a chance to have fun and compete but also help to promote skateboarding and grow the skate scene in Bangladesh.

Skate Tour

Every year, we hold a skateboarding tour to not only provide a platform for skaters to showcase their skills and compete against one another, but also to expose them to different local cultures and bring the love of skateboarding to people in rural areas.

Skatepark Access

In addition to hosting events and activities, we also work to improve skatepark access in Bangladesh. This can include working with local authorities to create new skateparks or to maintain and improve existing ones.

Founder’s Message

My mission has always been to contribute something meaningful and positive to my country. Skateboarding, still a relatively new sport in Bangladesh, has been my passion for the past eight years—and I have worked tirelessly to nurture and grow it. Without any financial or institutional support from the government or federations, I have organized numerous events entirely at my own expense.

In 2017, I founded the Bangladesh Skateboarding Community and served as its President. That same year, I launched DOB Skateshop—the first-ever skate shop in Bangladesh—addressing the lack of professional skateboards in the country. Since 2019, I have been hosting Go Skateboarding Day, an annual event that has received coverage from several leading national television channels.
